United Educators (UE) appointed Letitia “Tish” King as Head of Corporate Communications.
“Tish is a transformational leader whose strategic thinking and exceptional skills impressed me from the day I started at UE,” said Rick Mills, UE’s President and CEO. “Having Tish in this groundbreaking role reflects the importance of elevating our communications for our future success.”
King joined UE in May 2021 as Director of Communications, bringing with her an extensive background in nonprofit leadership and communications. She previously served as Senior Vice President for Communications at the Corporation for Public Broadcasting and as spokesperson and Director of the Office of Public Affairs for the U.S. Agency for Global Media.
In her new role, King will provide advice and counsel, support unified internal and external communications, and work across departments to advance UE’s mission of serving K-12 schools, colleges, and universities. &
